Offences on traffic rules and vehicle registration regulations are classified into 4 degrees. The higher the degree, the harsher the penalty.
The Royal Decree of 30 September 2005 determines the degree of violation of the provisions in the following regulations:
Offences on provisions to which no degree has been assigned are first-degree offences.
